Graphic Design Internship with Forte Interactive
The posted position is for an internship program for an undergraduate or graduate graphic design intern with an interest in pursuing a career in web design, graphics, user interface, content management or a related field. The applicant will be expected to work in-house. Candidates should have a love for creativity, technology and a desire to research and learn new design trends or methods. This is an opportunity to add tangible items to a portfolio of work and gain real world experience working with clients. We are currently undergoing a website re-design and rebranding process that will dramatically increase our company’s presence and visibility. An intern will have the opportunity to learn by doing as they tackle the following tasks (and others):
Requirements
Candidate must be able to work at least 10-20 hours per week, in-house, be enrolled at a top area university, have a GPA greater than 3.0, and be working toward a degree in graphic design, web design, media or communications, marketing, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who are skilled at web development/graphic design and/or knowledgeable of content management systems such as WordPress. It is highly recommended that the candidate have experience working within Adobe CS5 programs and a basic knowledge of HTML.
About the Internship
You will be working with other young people in a casual dress environment (jeans are acceptable) with a high emphasis on work-life balance, professional growth, and development. You will be assisting the creative department and will have the opportunity to see your work published on the web. This isn’t like other internships – you will be a highly valued member of the team and you will be given considerable responsibility.
